Our DIY this month is full of vintage sweetness. Mom made these adorable Valentine gifts and I thought I would share how. She used vintage milk bottles, but you could easily use mason jars or any other cute glass containers. She glued a red wood bead to the top of small wooden dowells or skewers. For the banner, she cut a triangle out of an old book page and then a smaller one out of a vintage bingo card. Then she cut one out of thin cardboard the same size as the book page and glued the book page onto it. She used a zig zag stitch on the sewing machine to sew them together with red thread. Next, she punched holes in the wide end of the banner and tied it to the dowell. Then she glued a vintage Valentine onto the banner and embellished it with other cut outs. Finally, she filled it with yummy chocolates. Such a sweet Valentine 🙂

Wishing you a wonderful 2017!
